Ericka Bruno began making drawings and paintings early in life as a quiet counterbalance to her large, active family. She is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and earned her BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design from The University of Texas, Austin. 

Working first in illustration, then digital graphics in San Francisco in the mid-90’s, Ericka was moved to dive into painting as an exploration of the confluence of the digital and organic. This dichotomy is a natural expression of aspects of her childhood, her time in San Francisco and currently, her life on the east coast of the Garden State.
